Custom Bag Order Process
From Product Brief to Approved Sample and Bulk Production
Fanlosn developed from the export department of an established domestic bag factory and became an independent trading company in 2018 as overseas business expanded. Supported by more than 10 years of bag-making experience, our team coordinates product communication, sampling, production follow-up, inspection, packing and export arrangements for custom bag projects.
Step 1 — Share the Product Brief
Start with the intended use, target market and quantity. Include the bag dimensions or the items that must fit, preferred material and colors, pocket and strap requirements, logo artwork, packaging, destination and required delivery date.
Reference photos or sketches are useful, but measurements and functional requirements still need to be confirmed. For an existing style, identify the model and list only the changes you need. For a new construction, mark the dimensions, opening, compartments and reinforcement points that affect the pattern.

Step 2 — Review the Structure, Material and Branding
We review whether the project can use an existing construction or needs a new pattern. Material thickness and backing, lining, zippers, webbing, hardware and pocket layout are considered together because they affect shape, durability, logo application and cost.
Screen printing, heat transfer, embroidery, woven labels, patches, debossing and metal plates suit different surfaces and artwork. The practical method depends on the material, logo size and colors, finish, quantity and test requirements.
The quotation records the agreed specification, MOQ, sample cost, unit price, packaging and estimated schedule. MOQ and timing are confirmed after the material, construction, branding, quantity and availability have been reviewed; they are not the same for every bag.
Step 3 — Sample and Confirm the Specification
The sample is checked against the product brief. Review the finished measurements, carrying fit, material and color, pocket layout, zipper and hardware operation, stitching, reinforcement, logo size and position, and packaging.
Changes should be written into the specification before bulk production. A simple logo update on an existing style may move faster than a new pattern, custom-dyed material, molded part or special hardware. The sample schedule is confirmed for the actual project rather than promised as a fixed number of days.
Step 4 — Bulk Production, Quality Follow-Up and Packing
After the approved sample and written specification are confirmed, the production resources are arranged for the order. Follow-up can include material and color checks, construction checks during production, and final inspection against the approved reference and agreed inspection standard.
Production timing depends on quantity, material availability, construction, logo method, packaging and any required testing. Shipping can be arranged by express, air or sea, or through the buyer's appointed forwarder. The delivery plan is confirmed separately from the production schedule.
